Leith Sharp and William J. Akley Join HEET Board

We are proud to welcome Leith Sharp and William J. (Bill) Akley to the HEET Board. Ms. Sharp is a distinguished leader in sustainability with more than 30-years of teaching experience and she has been helping guide HEET’s journey since 2016. She is currently the Director & Lead Faculty, Executive Education for Sustainability Leadership at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Mr. Akley has more than 40 years of experience in the gas utility industry most recently serving as President of Gas Operations at Eversource Energy. He announced his retirement the day after his Framingham Geothermal ribbon-cutting in 2024. You can read their full bios here.
